There’s a mighty wind blowing. A mighty wind blowing. Oh the joy that fills my soul. I can’t help but clap and dance because this wind blew in a chance. For the world to see something extraordinary happening in real time.

“Article 5 provides that if a NATO Ally is the victim of an armed attack, each and every member of the Alliance will consider this act of violence as an armed attack against all members and will take the actions it deems necessary to assist the Ally attacked.”
Here she was sending a message to Vladimir Putin of Russia who could invade Ukraine at any time.
However, let’s view this extraordinary speech through the lens of an historian. Often historians are looking for or waiting for that ’smoking gun’ in American history. They thrive on writing about the past, but, STOP. Something never seen before is occurring in real time. Living history. The Vice President, who is the First woman, Black woman ever in the history of the United States of America is in Munich doing an incredible job warning Vladimir Putin not to invade Ukraine. Therefore, books they write about for this historical event should be quite interesting. Many thought President Biden sending VP on this foreign policy trip would prove to be mission impossible. However, today we celebrate Vice President Harris’ trip as MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!
President Biden knew exactly the warrior he chose to be his Vice President. My assumption is that he knew America would see a true political powerhouse working side-by-side with him. And that finally in the end when his presidency was over, the world would have witnessed the FUTURE. President Kamala Harris.
